It has been ridiculously hot in the last few days... 41 on Christmas day, 44 on boxing day and 34 today. In fact, yesterday was the hottest December day ever recorded!
Today I felt the heat more than any other day, because it was post-Christmas sale day, and I decided to head into the city for some shopping. As the city is open air, it was quite warm - but the killer for me was walking back home from the bus stop in the heat. It was nasty... Thank God for airconditioning!
