the joy of daylight

I stayed back late at work today (late for me is like 6ish), and by the time I got out, it was getting darkish. On the way home on the train, the cars had their headlights on. The lights on the train made it brighter within the train than outside, and as a result, I could stare back at my sad face while looking outside.

These were all sad reminders that daylight savings was over for another year.

To all those sad people out there who wish to make working 'late' harder than it already is by voting against daylight savings - is this the reality you wish to embrace? Is it really that hard to adjust to an hour's change in time - even if you get rewarded with an extra hour of sleep at the end of it? Does Rowena's happiness mean nothing to you? haha

I hope this won't be the last time we get to have daylight savings - say YES to daylight savings Perth!!
