Quick movie review - Amazing Grace. This movie is about William Wilberforce - the guy behind the abolition of the slave trade in Great Britain. It was an awesome movie, great acting, cool costumes, and - what I reckon was the best bit of all - really-well-written-screenplay.
It looked really good and it was really really well made (except for one scene where you could see the microphone! :o), which is great for a Christian movie. I actually got free tickets to the movie through Sonshine FM - and to be honest I wasn't expecting that much from it, but I was really, really pleasantly surprised. Cool thing was that the movie was based on a true story!
I'm pretty excited about this movie - because it is not only inspirational (made me cry!), but it has a lot of truth in it too. I would encourage you all to see it and bring your non-Christian friends too. It is out at the cinemas on July 26.
